Three persons have been arrested by the police in connection with the disappearance of a 28-year old woman in Takoradi.
According to a statement from the police, the three have been arrested for further questioning on possible conspiracy charges.[ads2]
The victim, Josephine Panyin Mensah, has also been declared suspect in the preliminary investigations by the police.

Mrs Mensah, the Police say, is also being treated as a suspect as they investigate a case of possible “self kidnapping”.[ads3]
Josephine Panyin Mensah disappeared on Thursday, September 16, 2021 when going for a routine walk at the dawn around 5:00AM.
She is said to have been nine-month pregnant when she disappeared, but was found sod days after her disappearance with the pregnancy.[ads4]
A police preliminary investigation says that, the woman was never pregnant has it has been made known to the public but currently receiving treatment at the Axim Government Hospital.
