Samuel Inkoom eligible to play for Hearts of Oak in Kotoko clash

Newly-signed Hearts of Oak defender Samuel Inkoom could play for the club in Asante Kotoko clash on Sunday.

The Phobians face their bitterest rivals in a league clash at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Sunday, and the experienced right-back could play in the epic encounter.

Inkoom just signed for Hearts of Oak who are the Ghana Premier League defending champions on a year deal after weeks of training with the club.

According to reports, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has received Inkoom’s international transfer certificate which permit him to feature in the super clash tomorrow.

The 32-year old was reportedly close to joining Asante Kotoko but has decided to join Hearts of Oak after leaving Georgian side FC Torpedo.

Inkoom becomes the second high-profile player to join Hearts of Oak after former Inter Milan an AC Milan talisman Sulley Muntari.

The former Sekondi Hasaacas defender is reportedly part of the Hearts of Oak squad to travel to Kumasi for Asante Kotoko clash.
