The Chief Executive Officer of Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah has said goalkeeper Razak Abalora is the club’s best signing this season.
According to the astute football administrator, the former Azam FC goalkeeper was incredible for Asante Kotoko throughout this season even though the club failed to win the league title.[ads2]
Under the administration of Nana Yaw Amponsah this season, Asante Kotoko have signed players like Fabio Gama, Razak Abalora, Francis Andy Kumi and host of others.
And even though Fabio Gama has been spectacular and an integral member of the Kotoko squad this season, Nana Yaw Amponsah believes Razak Abalora is the club’s best signing this season.[ads3]
“For me our best signing this season is Razak Abalora. I will say so because of the number of times our defence breached and how many times he saved us”, Nana Yaw Amponsah said on Asempa FM.
Razak Abalora joined Asante Kotoko as a free agent after leaving Tanzanian side Azam FC.
He capped over 25 times for Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League season and also had 4 caps to his credit at the national level.[ads5]
