The family of the kidnapped but found Takoradi woman have released pictures of her heavily pregnant.
This is to debunk comment by the Western Regional Minister, Hon. Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah that the woman was not pregnant as reported in the media.[ads2]
According to the minister who double as the chairman of the Regional Security Council, the preliminary investigations by the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) indicate that the woman was not pregnant and even faked her kidnap.
The Regional Minister has since then received the backlashes with many doubting the report by the NIB.[ads3]
However, the family of the 28-year old victim identified as Josephine Panyin Mensah have released pictures of the woman heavily pregnant.
Background
Josephine Panyin Mensah was kidnapped on Thursday, September 16, 2021 around 5:00AM.
She was going for a morning walk where the unfortunate incident happened.
Mrs. Mensah was released on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 and was found in Axim in the Western Region.
