The Super Green Eagles of Nigeria have arrived in Ghana for the 2022 World Cup playoff against the gallant Black Stars.
Nigeria landed at the Kumasi Airport on Thursday with a chartered flight for the crucial game at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Coach Austin Eguavoen touched down at the Kumasi Airport on Thursday with 23 players led by General captain Ahmed Musa and some officials for the game.
The first leg of the game is scheduled for Friday, March 25, 2022 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium before the second leg in Abuja in four days time.
Meanwhile, the Black Stars have commenced preparations in Kumasi for the cagey encounter with twenty six players excluding Jordan Ayew who is scheduled to arrive in camp today.
The likes of AS Roma teenager Felix Afena-Gyan, Kudus Mohammed of Ajax Amsterdam, Leicester City ace Daniel Amartey, Thomas Partey of Arsenal, Rennes’ Kamaldeen Sulemana, Fulham’s Dennis Odoi, Sporting CP attacker Fatawu Issahaku and others are all in camp for the game.
