Medeama Sporting Club midfielder, Justice Blay will be a free agent in the next three days until a contract extension agreement is met, Kyfilla.com can exclusively report.

Kyfilla.com understands, the two-time Ghana FA Cup champions are determined to keep the defensive midfielder who they signed in 2017 from Sekondi Hasaacas for another league season but that seems not possible.[ads2]

Sources reveal that Medeama SC have already offered the midfielder a year contract extension deal but the player and his representatives are not ready to sign the deal.

It is believed that Asante Kotoko have shown keen interest in securing his signature hence the reason why the midfielder is bent on leaving Medeama SC as a free agent on January 6, 2021.[ads3]

Justice Blay started his professional career at Sekondi Hasaacas and made his debut in the Ghana Premier League in 2016 when he made a total of 14 appearances for the 1977 Ghana Premier League title winners and scored only one goal.

Following a successful campaign at Hasaacas, Justice Blay caught the attention of Medeama who signed him in the following season into their squad.

On his debut season for Medeama SC, Justice Blay made a total of 15 league appearances and scored once.[ads4]

In 2019, Asante Kotoko completed the signing of the midfielder on a season-long loan deal, and while at Kotoko featured in the CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederation Cup.

Blay scored 2 goals in 12 appearances for Kotoko in the cancelled 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season, but in 2020 he reverted from Kotoko to Medeama after the expiration of his loan contract.[ads5]
