Medeama SC part ways with goalkeeper Frank Boateng

Ghana Premier League outfit Medeama Sporting Club have mutually parted ways with goalkeeper Frank Boateng.

The Tarkwa-based club have abrogated the contract of the 27-year old goalkeeper after losing to Hearts of Oak in the Ghana FA Cup semifinals on Sunday.[ads2]

A statement from Medeama reads, “We have mutually parted ways with goalkeeper Frank Boateng. The club would like to thank Frank for his services and wish him well.”

Boateng joined Medeama Sporting Club in October last year after ending his stay at AshantiGold Sporting Club.[ads3]

He made 18 appearances for Medeama SC in the just ended Ghana Premier League season, conceding 15 goals.[ads4]

Frank Boateng previously played for Techiman City Football Club before joining Ashantigold in 2017.

Meanwhile, Medeama SC’s 2020/21 season’s campaign ended after losing 3-0 to Hearts of Oak in the 2021 FA Cup semi-final at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium. [ads5]
