MATCH REPORT: Opoku Agyemang hits brace as Medeama trounce Hearts

Medeama Sporting Club continued their splendid form in the league season by smashing Hearts of Oak 3:0 at the Akoon Park in Tarkwa.

Prince Opoku Agyemang’s brace and Nana Kofi Babil’ last minute goal ensured Medeama Sporting Club secured their second win the Ghana Premier League.

Opoku Agyemang had the opener for Medeama in the early minutes of the game through a spot kick after the ball struck Kofi Kordzi’s hand.

The home side continued putting pressure on the visitors until Opoku Agyemang had the second goal to end the first half of the titanic clash.

Despite Kofi Kordzi and Joseph Esso proving deadly upfront, after the recess, Hearts of Oak failed to even get an equalizer.

Youngster, Nana Kofi Babil came off the bench to score the final goal for Medeama Sporting Club courtesy Agyei Boakye’ super cross.

The game ended 3:0 in favor of Medeama Sporting Club who have accumulated six points out of the two matches played.

Hearts of Oak on the other hand are yet to pick even a point after losing to Berekum Chelsea in the league opener at the Accra Sports Stadium.
