Asante Kotoko suffered their first defeat of the season in the hands of neighbors King Faisal FC in matchday six of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
The Porcupines were succumbed to a 3:2 defeat at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium with Zubairu Ibrahim scoring a hat-trick for King Faisal.[ads2]
Speaking to the press, Kotoko coach Prosper Narteh Ogum stated that his side impressed and dominated King Faisal but lack of patience cost them the defeat.
“I am impressed with the players, we [Kotoko] outplayed King Faisal but they scored the goal. I think lack of patience cost us” Prosper Narteh Ogum.[ads3]
King Faisal currently lead the Ghana Premier League table with 13 points after 6 matches, same as Asante Kotoko.
King Faisal will host Elmina Sharks in matchday seven of the league at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium while Kotoko will play Real Tamale United.[ads5]
