After a successful event in the Greater Accra, all roads will lead to the assembly hall of Archbishop Porter Girls Senior High school in Takoradi for the Western Region’s edition of the HD+ kids armwrestling championship slated for Saturday, September 17, 2022.[ads2]
Over hundreds of kids will compete for the bragging rights, cash prizes and other goodies in the much-publicized Takoradi edition of the championship which is being organized under the auspices of the Ghana Armwrestling Federation in partnership with SES HD Ghana Limited.
According to the President of the Ghana Armwrestling Federation, Charles Osei-Assibey, kids between the ages of 12-16 years will be selected from various schools and communities in the region for the much-talked about championship in Takoradi.[ads3]
Prizes for the male and female categories includes cash prizes, medals, certificates, goodie bags among others with the overall winner taking home a cash of Gh¢2,000 and the opportunity to travel to the World Armwrestling Championship in Turkey.
He said same event would be held in Kumasi on October 7 with top and kid celebrities passing through for the opportunity of photographs and autographs with the finals of the regional winners scheduled for October 28 in Accra.[ads4]
The championship will have three categories for boys and two categories for girls with fun , entertainment and cash prizes at all levels as the side attraction.[ads5]
