Ghana Premier league heavyweight, Asante Kotoko are almost through with the acquisition of ace midfielder Justice Blay.
According to a deep source, Kotoko have reached the deepest of discussion with Medeama Sporting Club and the deal could be sealed in the next coming days.
Blay currently has three months left on his contract with Medeama and will leave as a free agent next year which has forced the Tarkwa-based club to enter into negotiations with Asante Kotoko.[ads2]
The highly-talented holding midfielder, who is recovering from an injury, has been left out of Medeama squad having preseason in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region towards the upcoming league season, according to source.

Blay could make a return to Kotoko in the next coming days barring any last-minute change as negotiations is at the very apex.[ads3]
He was a sensation for Kotoko during the 2019/20 league season when he joined the club on a season loan deal from Medeama Sporting Club.
While at Kotoko, Blay featured in the CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederation Cup, scored two goals in twelve appearances for the club in the truncated 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season.
He reverted from Kotoko to Medeama in 2020 after the expiration of his loan contract.[ads4]
At the international level, Justice Blay was handed a call-up by then Black Stars B coach Kwesi Appiah in 2017 ahead of a 2018 African Nations Championship qualifier.
In August 2019, Maxwell Konadu invited him to join the Ghana squad ahead of their preparation to face Burkina Faso in an African Nations Championship qualifier. He featured prominently for Ghana during the 2019 WAFU Cup of Nations tournament in Senegal.[ads5]
