Joseph Esso and Kofi Kordzi have been nominated in the 2018-19 Hearts of Oak awards.
The duo will battle with Kojo Obeng Junior, Abubakari Traore, Sellassie Bekai and Anthony Quayson for the best striker award.
The criteria for selecting the nominees was based on the players performances in the just ended NC Special Competitions.
Hearts of Oak reached the semi-finals and round 16 of the NC Special Competition tier 1 and 2 respectfully but were eliminated by Asante Kotoko and Unistar Academy in both competitions via penalty shootouts.
The awards is to motivate and appreciate hardworking and exceptional players during the Normalization Committee Special Competitions.
