Ashgold Sporting Club forward Shafiu Mumuni says he is ever ready to play for Asante Kotoko if they approach him.
The 24-year old attacker has been seriously linked to Asante Kotoko in the ongoing transfer window after trials with Romanian side CFL Cluj.

Though Kotoko have not approach him officially, Shafiu Mumuni has stated that if Kotoko approach him with a good offer, he will definitely join them.
“I have heard the rumour in the media linking me to Asante Kotoko but there haven’t been any official approach but I’m ever ready to play for them. It’s a matter of negotiation and whether I will be content with the amount they will offer,” he told Kumasi FM 104.1 MHZ.
Mumuni has not been involved in Ashgold premier league campaign this season following his move to Romanian side CFR Cluj for trials, but has now returned to Ghana.

Shafiu Mumuni had an illustrious 2019 season for both Ashgold SC and the Black Stars ‘B’ of Ghana.
He played a vital role for Ashgold to clinch the Normalization Committee Special Competition tier II trophy and also bagged in four goals for the Black Stars ‘B’ during the 2019 WAFU Championship where Ghana finished second.
