Hohoe United have been crowned champions of the Division One League Zone One, earning a well-deserved promotion to the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League.
The Hohoe-based side sealed their top-flight return with a commanding 3-1 victory over Inter Allies on the final day of the season at the Hohoe Stadium. Goals from Anass Ganiu, Faruk Mohammed, and captain Safian Osman powered the hosts to a comfortable win, despite a late consolation goal from the visitors.
Hohoe United concluded an outstanding campaign with 69 points from 29 matches, recording 23 wins, four draws, and just three defeats.
They now join Swedru All Blacks champions of Zone Two as the first two clubs confirmed for next season’s Premier League.
The final promotion spot will be determined in a playoff showdown between Real Tamale United and Techiman Eleven Wonders, set to take place on 30 May in Accra.
