Hearts need a ‘big coach’ for Africa not Samuel Boadu – Nyaho Tamakloe

Board member of Hearts of Oak, Dr Nyaho-Nyaho Tamakloe has expressed his doubt about the technical handlers of the club led by Samuel Boadu as they prepare for Africa next season.

The Phobians will be participating in the 2022/23 CAF Confederation Cup after winning the MTN FA Cup at the expense of Bechem United.

Even though the team won the FA, Hearts of Oak had an abysmal campaign in the Ghana Premier League, finishing sixth as the defending Champions.

Speaking on Accra-based Angel FM, Dr Nyaho-Nyaho Tamakloe believes Hearts of Oak will need a new technical direction for the CAF Confederation Cup campaign.

“I have a problem with Hearts of Oak’s technical direction of the club, most of the players appear to be indisciplined in the team and are either aged or lazy,” Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe told Accra-based Angel FM.

“I strongly have my doubt that the technical team can do well in Africa. Hearts of Oak is a big club and must always be in the hand of a big coach like Attiquayefio.

“I believe the current technical team can’t carry us far,” he added.

Meanwhile, since joining Hearts of Oak somewhere last two seasons, Samuel Boadu has won five trophies for the club as the head coach – a feat many have heralded him for despite the team’s shambolic league campaign in the just ended season.
