The talented winger has been named the skipper of the Ghana U-20 by coach Karim Zito following his leadership qualities since joining the camp of the team.

Afriyie Barnieh is among the list of players at the Ghana U-20 camp preparing feverishly for their upcoming assignments.
Ghana is preparing for the upcoming WAFU ‘B’ U-20 qualification tournament to be staged in Togo later this year.

Afriyie Barnieh is expected to lead Ghana for glory in the upcoming WAFU B tournament in Togo.
He has become an integral part of Hearts of Oak since joining at the beginning of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League campaign.
