Karela United have suffered their first defeat in the 2020/21 league season.
The Ayinase-based side suffered their first ever defeat in the league season to high-flying Bechem United side in week six of the Ghana Premier League in Bechem on Friday.[ads2]
Bechem United were the dominate side despite Karela United showing gross determination to return to Ayinase with the three maximum points.
The first half was goalless as both sides showed eagerness to find the net of each other at the Nana Gyeabour Park in Bechem on Friday afternoon.[ads3]
Steven Owusu broke the deadlock for Bechem United in just two minutes into the second half to give the home side the lead.
Ten minutes after, in-form striker Diawisie Taylor snatched the parity for the visitors.[ads4]
At the dying embers of the game, Listowel Amankonah netted the winner for Bechem United to return to winning ways.
