The Western region Sports Authority in collaboration with GNPC Foundation will organize the maiden inter-district athletics championship scheduled for November 24, 2018.
The much anticipated event which has GNPC Foundation as the main sponsor will see 23 districts participating in 4x400metres, 100metres, 800metres,1500metres etc.

Meanwhile, all the participating districts are expected to report on November 23 before the main event at the Sekondi Sports Stadium.

The selected athletes from the inter-district championship will represent the Western region in unity games and other competitions.
