GFA bans Medeama for violating Covid-19 protocols

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has temporarily ordered Medeama Sporting Club to play their league matches behind closed doors.

According to a statement from the Ghana FA, Medeama Sporting Club violated the Coronavirus safety protocols during their game against Hearts of Oak on Wednesday.[ads2]

Per the statement, Medeama Sporting Club have been banned from opening their home ground to supporters until the case is fully determined by the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association.[ads3]

Medeama Sporting Club have become the second Ghana Premier League club to be ordered by the Ghana FA to play their league matches behind closed doors after Hearts of Oak.
