The National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) has signed a partnership agreement with four newly-promoted Ghana Premier League clubs.[ads2]
The clubs are FC Samartex, Nsoatreman FC, Kotoku Royals and Tamale City.
The deal will offer the four clubs with the opportunity to register their players and officials as well as management members and supporters on the health insurance scheme.[ads3]
The deal is to also encourage football loving fans to enroll on the health insurance scheme.
The deal was officially unveiled on Wednesday, August 31 by the Chief Executive Officer of the authority Dr Okoe Boye, Board Chairman Dr Ernst K.P Kwarko and some executive members of the authority as well as representatives of the four clubs.[ads5]
