Aduana Stars defender Farouk Adams could be facing a minimum of ten years imprisonment according to a renowned legal practitioner.
Adams is currently in police custody after hitting a police constable with his car and leaving the officer to death.[ads2]
The incident is said to have happened in Dormaa Ahenkro in the Bono East Region.
The experienced centre-back is said to have hit the police officer who had closed from a shift at Asuotiano – Berekum road.[ads3]
The police officer is said to have died at the spot but Farouk Adams is currently in police custody.
Speaking on Kumasi-based Kessben FM, the ace lawyer stated that Farouk Adams could face three possible charges which include careless driving, causing harm and death.[ads4]
He added that Farouk Adams may also be charged with for driving without a license should he happened to be driving without a license.
The lawyer continued that Farouk Adams could be jailed at least ten years or more after a court hearing..[ads5]
