Two clubs from the Egyptian Premier League are currently neck to neck in their pursuit to secure the signature of Karela United striker Diawisie Taylor.
The two, Al Masry and Al Ittihad who are placed third and sixth respectively in the on-going Egyptian Premier league are said to have made different offers to Karela United FC in their quest to lure the center forward away from the Nzema based club.[ads2]
The 21-year-old goal machine has become one of the most in demand strikers in the country following his astonishing performance in the just ended Ghana Premier League season emerging as the league’s top scorer with 18 goals.
Apart from the two Egyptian clubs, sources indicate that the club has received transfer request from clubs such as Accra Hearts of Oak, Maritzburg United in South Africa among many others with a lot of football agents requesting the club’s permission to lead in his transfer processes.[ads3]
Karela United and the player are expected to in the coming days weigh their options and make a final decision on the various offers.
Diawisie Taylor joined the Pride and Passion club in 2018 from Division One League side Bibiani Gold Stars FC and has since been leading the lines for the club.
He is currently in camp at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre at Prampram with the Black Star B team.[ads5]
