Eleven Wonders midfielder Amin Adams and team manager Ernest Amo have been granted bail after three days in remand.

The two were arrested on Saturday after losing to Accra Lions in matchday six of the Ghana Premier League at the Accra Sports Stadium.[ads2]

They were arrested for allegedly assaulting assistant referee Jasper Adenyo and physically assaulted him in the process.

Even though their lawyers appealed for the case to be moved from the Police Station for the Ghana FA and it’s Disciplinary Committee to solve the issue, the judge who sat on the case remanded them into prison custody for a period of two weeks.[ads3]

But they have been granted bail by an Accra High Court on Thursday after an appeal by their lawyers.

They spent two days in cells after their arrest by Superintendent Freeman Kumashie from the Greater Accra Police Command before they appeared in court last Monday.[ads5]
