Ghana Premier League newbies, FC Samartex 1996 have announced the signing of midfielder Frederick Ansah-Botchway from Hearts of oak.
The midfielder has joined the timber giants on a 2 year deal after being declared surplus to requirement by Hearts of oak some months ago.

Ansah Botchway is the third player from Hearts of oak to join the Timber giants after the signing of goalkeeper Richard Baidoo and defender Larry Sumaila , who joined on a free transfer .

Botchway who joined the Phobians in 2020 won one(1) Ghana Premier League title, two(2) FA Cups and the Ghanaian Super cup during his 2-year stint.[ads3]
Samartex will open their 2022/23 Betpawa Ghana Premier League campaign with an away game against the Pride of the North, Real Tamale United at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium , Tamale.
