Newly-promoted Ghana Premier league outfit Real Tamale United are almost complete in signing of midfielder David Abagna.
The 23-year old has become a top transfer target for the Tamale-based club ahead of the 2021/22 league season.[ads2]
Abagna is expected to sign a three-year deal for RTU after the two clubs reaching an agreement.
He was reported to have been on the wishlist of Asante Kotoko after impressive form for AshantiGold Sporting Club in the just ended league season.[ads3]
Abagna was one of the instrumental players for AshantiGold last season, capping 30 matches with 9 goals and 5 assists toppled with 4 man of the match awards.
He also scored two times for AshantiGold Sporting Club in the FA Cup where the team managed to reach the finals but lost the title to Hearts of Oak on penalty shootouts.[ads5]
