The Western Region of Ghana has recorded 186 cases of the Coronavirus pandemic according to the Regional Public Health Promotion Officer of the Ghana Health Service Mr Daniel Bomfeh.

Speaking in an interview on Connect FM in Takoradi, Mr. Bomfeh said of the 186 suspected cases, 77 have tested negative with 108 tests results still pending.

He indicated that for now, the region has recorded only one positive case with the victim under treatment.
Meanwhile Ghana has recorded a total of 641 positive cases with 83 discharged while 8 persons have died.
