Head coach of newly promoted Ghana Premier league outfit Goldstars FC, Kobina Amissah, has relinquished his position at the club.
The astute tactician has vacated his position after failing to renew his contract with the Bibiani-based club.[ads2]
Kyfilla.com understands both Kobina Amissah and management of Goldstars on a mutual consent have agreed to end the marriage.
Speaking to Kyfilla.com, the former Sekondi Hasaacas coach stated that he has relinquished his position at Goldstars FC to take a sabbatical leave after three seasons of active service.[ads3]
“It is not like am leaving because there is pressure but I have been active for the past three seasons and I need to take enough rest and refresh my mind. Though am leaving, if they need my support, I will wholeheartedly do that but not as part of the management team. I will definitely bounce back very soon”, he said.

Coach Kobina Amissah has left Goldstars FC after securing a qualification to the next season’s Ghana Premier league.
Goldstars finished first in the just ended zone two table of the division one league ahead of clubs like Skyy FC, FC Samartex, Sekondi Hasaacas, New Edubiase and host of others to get the slot to participate in the country’s top-flight football next season.[ads5]
