Coaches are hired to be fired, so I’m ready to leave – Samuel Boadu

Hearts of Oak head coach, Samuel Boadu has said he won’t be perturbed if management of the club sack him.

The Phobians are struggling this season after going four matches without a win ,drawing three and losing one.[ads2]

The defending champions of the Ghana Premier League had their woes deepen today by AshantiGold with a 2:0 defeat at the Lenclay Sports Stadium in matchday four of the league season in Obuasi.

Following the team’s abysmal performance this season, some section of the supporters have started calling for the sack of coach Samuel Boadu who won double for the team last season.[ads3]

But speaking to the press after AshantiGold defeat, coach Boadu stated that he will leave the club if management of the team find a coach who can turn things around.

“Coaches are hired to be fired and if the Board and Management feels there is someone who can change things around am ready to leave”, Samuel Boadu said.

Hearts of Oak currently boast of three points after five matches and will face Algerian side JS Soura in the CAF Confederation Cup prelims on November 28, 2021 before traveling to Tarkwa for league game against Medeama SC.[ads5]
