Coach Samuel Boadu staying at Medeama – Patrick Akoto

The Communication Director of Medeama Sporting Club, Patrick Akoto has stated that their head coach Samuel Boadu is staying at the club.

Coach Boadu has been on the wanted list of AshantiGold Sporting Club ahead of the 2020/21 CAF Confederation Cup campaign after their coach Roberto Landi left without any notice.

Speaking on Peace FM, Patrick Akoto confirmed that Medeama have received a letter from AshantiGold over the availability of the enterprising gaffer but the club is not willing to release the coach.

“I can confirm to you that we have received a letter from Ashantigold expressing an interest in our coach Samuel Boadu. They want him to help their club in their Africa campaign,” Akoto said.

“But we have no interest in letting him go. He is very much happy here and want to lead the Medeama project this season and beyond.

“He has a contract. He is a top professional and so we have no issues at all. He will continue to remain with us for many more years.

“Nothing dramatic has changed and we have no intention of letting him go.”

Coach Samuel Boadu is the head coach of the Ghana U-15 and is touted as one of the budding coaches in the country.
