Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah announces decision to recall Ayew brothers, Asamoah Gyan for future matches

Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah says he is ready to recall the trio of Asamoah Gyan, Andre Ayew and Jordan Ayew for future games following his side’s poor show against Kenya. Appiah left out the three players for the last Saturday’s Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Kenya to which Ghana lost 1-0. Before the Black Stars lost the match to the Kenyans on Saturday, the former Asante Kotoko captain revealed that leaving out the three top players in Saturday’s AFCON qualifier would give him the chance to see other talents for the country. “I have good players, who are capable of doing a good job.

It is the time for other young players to show what they can do even for future matches,” said Appiah. “We have a lot of players in Ghana and I am working to understand and know them well.
