Kumasi-based Pure FM have reported that Christopher Nettey is on the verge of exiting Asante.
According to the reports, the talented right-back could be leaving Asante Kotoko due to issues regarding his transfer fee.

It is reported that, Godwin Attram- who is the bankroller of Attram De Visser Soccer Academy where Christopher Nettey joined Asante Kotoko from, is demanding full payment of the $35,000.00 transfer fee of the player.
This has reportedly pushed Asante Kotoko to start searching for a possible replacement for Christopher Nettey as a misunderstanding has engulfed between the two parties.

Christopher Nettey has been spectacular for Asante Kotoko since joining the team in December 2019 on an initial one year deal.
He was consistent for Asante Kotoko in the just cancelled 2019/20 league, capping about 13 matches.
