Caleb Amankwah denies Kotoko, Hearts of Oak talks

Former Aduana Stars defender Caleb Amankwah has denied holding talks with Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak for a possible move.

Reports were rife that the dependable defender has held a crunch talks with both Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak as he hopes to make a return to the Ghana Premier League.[ads2]

But speaking to Kumasi-based Ezra FM, Caleb Amankwah denied the reports, stating that none of the two clubs have contacted him for deal.

“I have not spoken to Kotoko or Hearts of Oak for a possible move, I don’t have any Hearts official contact, so it baffles me how people are linking me to Hearts of Oak I heard on radio as everyone heard”, he said.

He revealed that, three Ghana Premier League clubs namely Medeama SC, Legon Cities FC and AshantiGold SC have shown interest in him and his manager is however in talks with the clubs for a move.[ads3]

“There are several teams that are talking to me Medeama, Legon Cities and Ashgold have all spoken with my manager but my manager and I are not in a hurry to take any decision we trying to make the good choice out of the teams”

“It’s every players dream to travel abroad and I’m not exceptional, there are other teams from abroad that needs my services but I can’t disclose it now”[ads4]

“Kotoko is a big club and it’s every players dream to play for them but if they haven’t approached me, I can’t force myself on them but when they come and the offer is good I will consider “
