Ghanaian dancehall artist, Shatta Wale has been arrested by the police over alleged fake shooting attack.
The award-winning artist made the trends after news of him being shot by unknown gunmen emerged on Monday, October 18, 2021.[ads2]
It was his personal assistant, Nana Dope who supposedly broke the news of Shatta Wale shot by gunmen whilst driving.
Nana Dope even went ahead to state that his boss has been admitted at an emergency ward of a private hospital in Accra.[ads3]
“SMH!! THEY COULD DO THIS IN THIS RAIN??? SMFH ‘If not the fact that he was driving prepared, it would have been too bloody!! Fuck this!! My niqqa too strong to give up!! You strong my g, i dont even know what to even say!! The typing make o s difficult” he said.
“Please those circulating the video should kindly stop!! i believe the king is gona come out alive and okay!!! keep him in your prayers! they can never bring a good man down!!! shatta wale is stronger than this so lets be otroch for him,” he wrote.
“Thanks to all those calling to check up, the king is still at the emergency ward receiving treatment THE GUNMEN ARE STILL ON THE RUN Thanks to Ghana Police,” he wrote on snapchat.[ads4]
But it seems the whole shooting claims is a hoax and already two in the camp of Shatta Wale identified as Kojo Owusu Koranteng, also known as Nana Dope and Eric Venator, alias Gangee, have been arrested for allegedly spreading false information with the intention to cause fear and panic.
Latest reports from the police indicate that finally Shatta Wale has been arrested to assist investigations.
