Black Stars annihilate Soccer Intellectuals 8:0 in a friendly

The confidence of the Black Stars squad have been boosted after annihilating lower tier side Soccer Intellectuals in a friendly on Tuesday.

It was goals galore at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium as the Black Stars managed to defeat the lower tier side 8:0 to boost confidence ahead of game against Zimbabwe.[ads2]

Rennes midfielder Kamaldeen Sulemana and Steadfast FC star Fatawu Issahaku had brace each with Yaw Yeboah also having his name on the score sheet.

Ajax FC winger Kudus Mohammed was also on target with Benjamin Tetteh and Joel Famayeh completing the scores.[ads3]

Coach Milovan Rajevac and his charges will be continuing their preparations for 2022 world cup qualifier against Zimbabwe this weekend.

Twenty-seven players are currently in camping preparing for the upcoming encounter with the likes of Andre Ayew, Thomas Partey, Jordan Ayew, Kamaldeen Sulemana all participating in the preparations.[ads4]

The team has been training behind closed doors throughout the week.

Ghana face Zimbabwe in game number three of the World Cup qualifiers on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.

Ghana currently boast of only three points after two matches, and must at all cost defeat Zimbabwe in the two legged matches to increase chances of qualifying from the group stage.[ads5]
