Black Queens trio of Patricia Mantey, Mary Essiful and Gifty Acheampong have joined Nigerian top-flight league side Rivers Angels, Kyfilla.com has learnt.
The trio have joined the defending champions of the Nigeria women’s league after a successful negotiations.

Patricia Mantey, Mary Essiful and Gifty Acheampong have joined Rivers Angels from Immigration Ladies, Soccer Intellectuals and Thunder Queens respectively.
Goalkeeper Patricia Mantey was part of the Black Queens squad for the 2014 and 2018 AWCON while Mary Essiful who is a midfielder was part of the Ghana squad that participated in the continent’s women’s championship in Namibia in 2014.

Gifty Acheampong was also an integral member of the Ghana U17 side that partook in the 2016 Women’s U17 World Cup in Jordan.
The trio are expected to help Rivers Angels to maintain their dominance in the Nigeria women’s top-fligh league.
