Hearts of Oak midfielder Benjamin Afutu has left the Ghana Premier league outfit.
The 26-year old has left the club after failing to sign a new contract for the reigning Ghana Premier league champions.[ads2]
He had his contract with the Rainbow giants expiring after the end of the 2020/21 league season.
Afutu and his representatives were in crunch negotiations with Hearts of Oak but both parties failed to reach an agreement hence the midfielder departing the club.[ads3]
He was excluded from Hearts of Oak registered squad for the next season’s CAF Champions League.
Afutu was in a top form for the Phobians in the just ended league season, contributing keenly to the team’s success.
