Ashgold SC in contract talks with duo

Ashgold Sporting Club have begun talks with two of their stars ahead of the next season’s Africa campaign.

Ashgold will be representing Ghana in the upcoming CAF Confederation Cup following a decision from the Ghana FA Executive Council to cancelled the 2019/20 football season in Ghana due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

As part of strengthening their squad for the big task ahead, the Miners have begun talks with two of their players James Akaminko and Latif Anabila who has become a transfer target for Asante Kotoko.

This was revealed by Mr. Emmanuel Frimpong who is the CEO of the Ghana Premier League side in an interview on Oyerepa FM.

“We have New players coming on board, with Latif [Anabila], James Akaminko and the likes, we are trying to renew their contracts, talks are still ongoing,” he said.
