Ghana Premier League heavyweight Asante Kotoko have reported Algerian outfit USM Alger to FIFA over the unpaid transfer fee of striker Kwame Opoku.
According to reports, USM Alger have not paid the transfer fee of the bulky goal poacher to Asante Kotoko hence the club’s decision to report them to FIFA.[ads2]
Asante Kotoko shipped the bulky goal poacher to USM Alger in the middle of the league season when he was the club’s top performer and challenging for the Ghana Premier league topscorer award.
But the Algerian club have failed to pay the transfer fee of about $300,000 to $500,000 to Asante Kotoko and all diplomatic efforts by the Ghana Premier league giants have proved futile.[ads3]
This has culminated to Asante Kotoko decision to report USM Alger to the world football governing body for their cash.
Meanwhile, Kwame Opoku has played couple of matches for USM Alger in the Algerian league season, scoring some number of goals.[ads5]
