Asante Kotoko defender, Christopher Nettey has received a late call-up to the Black Stars ahead of AFCON qualifier against Sudan.
Nettey has earned the late invitation to the Black Stars to serve as a backup to the right-back position which already has Harrison Afful and Benson Anang.

The Asante Kotoko defender is expected to join the Black Stars team on November 9, 2020 at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium for preparations ahead of the Sudan clash.

Nettey becomes the second locally-based player to earn an invitation to the Black Stars after Bechem United striker Prince Kwabena Adu.

Ghana will host Sudan in 2021 AFCON qualifier at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Thursday, November 12, 2020 before the reverse fixture at Khartoum in five days time.
