Asante Kotoko beat Inter Allies 3:0 in a friendly

Kumasi Asante Kotoko whipped fellow Ghana Premier League side Inter Allies 3:0 in a preparatory match ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup campaign.

Goals from captain Amos Frimpong, the sensational Naby Keita Laye and Martin Antwi were enough for coach C.K Akunnor’ side as they walloped the Capo Boys at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Porcupine Warriors were using the encounter to test the might of their players as they prepare for the CAF Confederation Cup prelims.

Kotoko had a walk over in the first round of the ongoing CAF Confederation Cup prelims after the Cameroon Football Federation failed to present a second team to face Kotoko.

The ‘Wo Kum Apem a Apem Beba’ lads will now face Kenyan giant Kariobangi Sharks in the next round of the CAF Confederation Cup after the Kenyans managed to beat Artar Solar from Djibouti 9:1 on aggregates.

Coach C.K Akunnor’ side after playing Inter Allies will pitch camp in Obiri before travelling for Kenya in a weeks time to face Kariobangi Sharks.
