The world football governing body, FIFA has placed five years ban on CAF President Ahmad Ahmad.
This was contained in a release from FIFA, stating that Ahmad Ahmad has been banned after being found guilty of financial misconduct.
“Ahmad Ahmad breached his duty of loyalty, offered gifts and other benefits, mismanaged funds and abused his position as the CAF President”, part of the statement reads.
This means that Ahmad Ahmad can no longer continue as the President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) until he has overturned the ruling
