Black Stars pitch invader Awal Suleman has been fined GH¢ 2,400 by the Cape Coast Circuit Court on Thursday.

Awal Suleman was at the Cape Coast Circuit Court today for the final hearing of his case, where he was charged with offensive disturbance and resisting arrest.
The 25-year old will serve three months in jail if he failed to pay the fine of GH¢ 2,400 and was also made to sign a bond of good behavior.
The graduate nurse invaded the pitch during the Black Stars 2:0 win over South Africa in the 2021 AFCON qualifiers at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
He made his way onto the pitch during the 74th minute of the match, but after hot chase, he was apprehended by the security officials.
Suleman spent two days at the police custody before granted bail, even though he claimed he wanted to take selfie with his idol Thomas Partey.
On Wednesday, Awal Suleman finally met his idol Thomas Partey at his residence in Accra to take the selfie and had a meeting with the Atletico Madrid star as well.
