Black Stars ‘B’ of Ghana skipper Shafiu Mumuni has been adjudged the man of the match as Ghana trounced their counterpart from Ivory Coast 3-1 in the semi-finals of the ongoing WAFU Championship on Tuesday.

Shafiu Mumuni bagged a hat-trick for Ghana in the game to aid coach Maxwell Konadu’ side to reach the finals of the competition.

He has become the first ever player to score a hat-trick in the competition since its inception and he is on the verge of clinching the topscorers award in the ongoing Championship.

The victory has enabled Ghana to reach the finals of the competition and will either face Senegal or Mali who are yet to play their semi-final game.
