Ghanaian international, Thomas Partey made his debut for Arsenal in their English Premier League game against Manchester City on Saturday afternoon.
The Gunners were pipped 1:0 by Manchester City at the Ethihad Sports Stadium courtesy the only goal from English superstar Raheem Sterling.

Thomas Partey who joined the Mikel Arteta’s side few days ago from Atletico Madrid was introduced into the game in the 83rd minute for Switzerland national Granit Xhaka.
The Black Stars deputy skipper had an impressive showdown for Arsenal though they were defeated by Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.

Partey joined Arsenal on a fee of £45million from Spanish side Atletico Madrid following his outstanding performance for the Laliga side in his five years stay.
He has become the third Ghanaian player to don the Arsenal jersey after Quincy Owusu-Abeyie and Emmanuel Frimpong who has been heavily linked to Ghana Premier League giant Asante Kotoko.
