Asante Kotoko have parted ways with assistant coach Rapheal Akakpo Patron, Kyfilla.com can report.
According to report in the local media, the Porcupine Warriors have parted ways with the former Togolese international after barely two years of services.
According to report, the former WAFA head coach has been axed from Asante Kotoko to pave way for Karela United gaffer Johnson Smith, who is set to be named as the new assistant coach in the coming days.
Akakpo Patron was reportedly in line to be demoted to the youth side of Asante Kotoko but report says he has rejected the new role leading to his sack from the team.
He joined Asante Kotoko in 2017 as the assistant coach from fellow premiership side WAFA and served under Steve Pollack, C.K Akonnor and current Kotoko coach Kjetil Zachariassen.
