Enterprising sportscaster, Solomon Amankwah has been nominated in the 2020 edition of the Western Region Radio and Television Personality Awards.
The fast growing sportscaster has been nominated in the best sports presenter of the year category.
The awards organized by Ex-One Entertainment seeks to honour hardworking media personalities in the Western Region from the area of sports, entertainment, disc jockeying and host of others.
Solomon Amankwah will be competing with other notable nominees for the enviable award during the awards night to be held on a yet to be announced date.
Solomon Amankwah affectionately referred to as ‘The Superman’ is considered as one of the fast growing sportscasters in the Western Region, very versatile and widely known for his spot-on interviews, commentary prowess, fact-based analysis, and his silky voice which attract many to listen to him when on radio.
He is currently the head of sports at Takoradi-based Kyzz and has been splendid since joining the station.
Solomon Amankwah started his broadcasting journey at Sekondi-based Radio Silver where he studied under ace sportscaster Stephen Kwame Yeboah popularly known as KY.
He then joined Atinka Media Village in 2018 and later to Media General’s Connect FM before joining Kyzz FM.
