The bankroller of Ghana division one league side Berekum Arsenal, Alhaji Yakubu Moro has been pronounced dead.
According to reports, the astute football administrator died this morning at the Ridge Hospital in Accra after a short illness.

Alhaji Yakubu Moro has been sick for the past weeks but the sickness became severe and was rushed to the Ridge Hospital in Accra where he gave up the ghost.
Per the Islamic tradition, the outspoken Ghanaian Football administrator might be buried on Friday.

Before his demise, Alhaji Yakubu Moro was the president of Berekum Arsenal and a highly respected football administrator in the country.

Under his leadership, Berekum Arsenal were able to qualify to the 2006 Caf Confederation Cup but were kicked out in the second round by Petro de Luanda of Angola 2-0 on aggregate thanks to goals from Mbiavanga and Z’Calanga.
