Ghanaian international, Andre Ayew scored as Swansea City suffered 1:2 defeat to Huddersfield Town in the English Championship at the Liberty Stadium this afternoon.
The Swansea City deputy skipper netted the only goal for the home team as they were pinned to a 1:2 defeat by Huddersfield Town.
Harry Toffolo broke the virginity for the visitors in the 23rd minute before Andre Ayew snatched the equalizer for Swansea City from the spot in the 33rd minute to end the first half.
But Ayew’s goal couldn’t solicit any point for Swansea City as Josh Koroma netted the winner for Huddersfield Town in the 67th minute to end the tantalizing encounter.
Though Swansea City lost the game, Andre Ayew has now scored two goals in the season with one assist to his credit.
