The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has reinstated Phar Rangers back to the Division One League.
Phar Rangers were relegated to the Eastern Region division two in the 2016/17 season after finishing 12th on the Zone III table while Okyeman Planners were maintained even though they placed 13th on the league.
Okyeman Planners were maintained because they won a protest against Okwahu United for failing to pay a fine.
However, Phar Rangers filed a protest against Okwahu United since they didn’t pay the fine before their clash.
Rangers were denied a three points plus three goals against Okwahu United, which saw them sending the case to the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS).
CAS ruled the case in favor of Phar Rangers but the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association failed to grant Rangers the full points.
But after 48 days, the Ghana Football Association has finally reinstated Phar Rangers back to the division one league.
