Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu is responding well to treatment after being hospitalized in Italy with blood cloth in his lungs.
Hellas Verona said on Wednesday evening that, the experienced midfielder has been diagnosed with pulmonary embolism.
The midfielder has said on Thursday that ‘he is doing better’ after spending a night at the hospital.
Kyfilla.com understands, Agyemang-Badu will be spending a week at the hospital to enable him recover fully.
He joined Hellas Verona on loan with option to buy, from fellow Serie A side Udinese Calcio.
Agyemang-Badu was not in the Black Stars squad for the Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt after only returning to action in March, following an 11- month injury.
